Wholesale Food and Drink Resilience Fund open for applications

Posted: 8th December 2020

Applications are now open for a £5million fund set up to help wholesale food and drink businesses affected by Covid restrictions.

The fund will be targeted at food and drink wholesalers who sell to hospitality, on-trade or public sector clients who have seen sales fall by 20% or more since March. It is intended to cover the shortfall in revenue and fixed operating costs such as business rates, rent, loan repayments, utilities and insurance as well as specific costs such as the loss of stock. The fund will only be open to SMEs, many of whom have lost up to 95% of their income as a result of significant Covid restrictions on hospitality businesses.

You can find out more information, including how to apply, here – the deadline for applications is 11.59pm on the 13th December 2020.
