Have you got what it takes to unlock The Research Chamber?

Aberdeen & Grampian Chamber of Commerce is relatively unique in the UK Chamber network in that we have an in-house team of MRS-registered researchers, effectively operating as an independent commercial research agency.

Our current projects range from directly contracted work such as economic impact studies for major businesses and co-sponsored work, such as our Food and Drink sector survey produced with a range of partners; to sponsored thought leadership pieces such as our bi-annual Oil and Gas Survey. You can see more at https://www.agcc.co.uk/helping-your-business/research-insights

The CV-19 crisis has highlighted the need for focused, timely data and we are uniquely positioned to lead the way in providing regional business insights to support the recovery, growth and economic development of Scotland’s city regions and key sectors.

The opportunities are huge. What we are looking for is someone to join our fantastic team and play a leading role in helping us achieve them.

Does this sound like you?

You’ll have a background in research agency/consultancy and your career experience will enable you to hit the ground running by bringing existing client relationships, winning new work and identifying opportunities to grow our research business; as well as getting your sleeves rolled up working with the team to deliver the projects.

You will have a creative and inquisitive mind, exceptional writing and numerical skills and a capacity for making connections across a range of stakeholders and subjects.

You’ll be outgoing, possessing strong attention to detail, a very good communicator and be happy to work at pace in a productive team. You will need a positive mind-set, be able to work in a fast-moving organisation where change happens every day and have a passion for the role we play and the development of The Research Chamber.

Although AGCC is, perhaps unsurprisingly, Aberdeen-based the location of this exciting new role will be flexible with some homeworking and hotdesk facilities available at Edinburgh and Glasgow Chambers.

If this sounds like you, contact us on an informal basis in the first instance. Drop an email to joinourcause@agcc.co.uk before June 23 with a few words about you and why we should get back to you to arrange an initial chat.
