University of Edinburgh Business School Masterclass on Behavioural Finance -19th & 20th April

This two-day Masterclass will introduce you to the latest research findings in the area of behavioural finance.

Approaching theory from an applied perspective, the course explores the nuances of decision making in the presence of risk and uncertainty, providing invaluable insights into the behaviour of both individual investors and finance professionals.

The programme focuses on practical applications for executives in charge of managing assets and investment client portfolios. The Masterclass is interactive in nature and incorporates case studies, psychometric tests, risk profile assessments and real-time learning feedback.

This masterclass is delivered by Dr Arman Eshraghi, Lecturer in Finance and Accounting and Director, MSc Finance & Investment, University of Edinburgh, Prof. Ben Jacobsen, Lecturer in Chair in Financial Markets, University of Edinburgh and Dr Adam Moore, Lecturer in Psychology, University of Edinburgh

Who should attend?
Asset managers in various stages of their professional career who may wish to refresh their knowledge of behavioural finance, get the latest research findings from a practical lens in a participant driven learning environment, and improve their current investment strategies accordingly will find this masterclass of high interest. In addition, CIOs and marketing officers of investment firms will find the topics helpful in improving their communication of investment strategies and ‘technical language’ of investment psychology and behavioural finance.
