The royal journey begins with a stay at Gleneagles Townhouse, Gleneagles’ first urban hotel in the heart of the city, officially opening in June 2022, located within walking distance to all the major attractions. Visitors will spend the days exploring Scotland’s capital, walking 16th Century streets teeming with history or paying a visit to Edinburgh Castle, one of the UK’s most iconic attractions. No visit is complete without seeing the city from all the best vantage points, whether it’s from the glass-fronted rooftop bar Lamplighters at Gleneagles Townhouse, the 60m high Scott’s Monument on Princes’ Street or the summit of Arthur’s Seat.
