Tanami delivers Christmas wish for one young Celtic fan

Posted: 23rd November 2015

With Christmas fast approaching, children around the country are busy writing their wish lists for Santa.   Tanami has joined in the Christmas spirit by producing a short festive film for Celtic Football Club, starring members of the first team squad who make dreams come true for a young Celtic fan.

The new Celtic advert, promotes the club’s range of Christmas gifts via the online superstore and stars eight year old Gregor Selkirk who plays Callum, the Celtic daft boy who’s imaginary friend just happens to be his favourite player, Celtic and Scotland Captain, Scott Brown.

Jemma Caldwell, Tanami’s Managing Director, comments: “It was a pleasure working with Celtic again.   Scott was a star and played the part of Callum’s imaginary friend really well!  We also produced a behind the scenes video which will be released next week – this will give our audience a sneak peak at life on a busy film set.”

In one scene, Callum and some of his friends enjoy a kick-about in the garden joined by each of their own imaginary friends, Celtic stars Gary Mackay-Steven, James Forrest and Tom Rogic.

Of his acting debut, the Celtic Captain said, “It was something a wee bit different and great fun to be involved in.   To be fair, Gregor was the real star of the show and it was pretty funny seeing snow in the middle of October!  I’m not sure I’ll win an Oscar for my performance, but hopefully the fans will at least have a laugh when they see it”.

Edinburgh-based Tanami also produces regular video content for Chevrolet in conjunction with its sponsorship of Manchester United.  Tanami’s latest video filmed for the Chevrolet FC mascot name swap campaign has already received more than five million hits on Facebook.
