Strictly Come Dancing

Edinburgh Leisure is launching two dance classes geared towards adults with additional support needs at the Royal Commonwealth Pool.

Danceability is an inclusive dance class for young adults (16+) with additional support needs and their friends, family or carers to explore movement and dance to music. It takes place at 11.35am, from 3 May 2018, and costs £3.75 per person.

Strictly Silver is for older adults (50+) to dance ballroom and latin to gain mobility, balance, have fun and recall the big band, silver screen era of jive and swing. Taking place every Thursday, again from 3 May 2018, at 12.35pm, it also costs £3.75 per person and is suitable for older adults with additional support needs and their carers.  The class is also dementia friendly.  Participants are welcome to come with or without a partner.
