Social Enterprise Academy Seeking New Board Members

The Social Enterprise Academy exists to strengthen and support the enterprising third sector through learning and development. We focusing on leadership, enterprise and personal development delivered through ‘practitioner-led, peer learning’ – a powerful style of learning that can transform how people think and work.

We believe that leadership is the key to a thriving, entrepreneurial third sector – and that leadership can be learned.
Supporting over 1500 people a year in Scotland, we are now also sharing our model across the world.
We are seeking highly capable and inspiring individuals to help us develop our business internationally whilst strengthening our Scottish base.
The role is a voluntary position but highly rewarding and diverse in its impact. You will be influencing and supporting work that contributes to the development of the third sector and young people in Scotland, as well as the social enterprise movement around the world.
We are especially keen to hear from those with experience of:

  • International contexts
  • Developing young people in and out of education
  • HR and organisational development
  • Finance and accounting
