SmartPA Setting sights on America
Edinburgh-based company SmartPA are setting their sights on the American market.
After establishing themselves in domestic areas such as Edinburgh, Birmingham and London, alongside international regions such as Qatar and South Africa, the rapidly-expanding company has targeted the U.S.A.
Launching 4 years ago, their business model successfully encompasses solutions to two of the most prevalent issues facing every business in today’s environment: (a) businesses facing increasing pressure to cut costs in order to survive and (b) women finding it increasingly difficult to return to work after maternity leave.
As leaders in outsourcing PA, administrative and secretarial services, they offer innovative technology and training. The company focusses on helping businesses of all sizes create a leaner business function, maximising productivity and efficiency whilst reducing costs. SmartPA also provides a solution to thousands of professional mothers by providing them with a steady income and flexible home-working.
Yet their business model goes further than this, in April of this year, SmartPA co-founder Sarra Bejaoui met Kezia Dugdale at the Scottish Parliament to discuss getting women back to work and female re-offending rates in Scotland. SmartPA are currently developing a training programme for women prisoners to develop essential skills, increasing their prospects of finding work.
These developments are simultaneous with the company’s re-brand. Their sleek new look is due to be launched very soon and will reflect their tech-savvy, modern approach to the workplace.
