ScotRail Alliance advises customers of changes to train services on the West Highland line

Posted: 2nd March 2017

The ScotRail Alliance is urging customers along the West Highland line to check their journey times before they travel, as engineering works are taking place over the coming weekends.

On Sundays from 5 to 26 March, essential maintenance work between Crianlarich and Tulloch means that buses replace trains between Crianlarich, Upper Tyndrum, Bridge of Orchy and Fort William only. Due to road access issues, there will be no bus or train service to Corrour or Rannoch stations.

To avoid disappointment, the train operator is encouraging customers to plan ahead and check their journey plans on the ScotRail app or at scotrail.co.uk.

A ScotRail Alliance spokesperson said: “These are vital works and we are doing everything we can to keep our customers moving during them. We appreciate their patience as we work to deliver a better railway for Scotland.”
