Registers of Scotland has released a refreshed ScotLIS for members of the public.

As part of the refresh, the look and feel of the service has changed to make it easier to navigate. The most significant change is the ability to buy the property documents (which include the title plan and title sheet) for £3.60 which is the same price our business customers pay for this information. Once purchased, the property documents will automatically be emailed to the customer in PDF making it quicker, easier and cheaper than ever before for the public to access our information.

Registers of Scotland is the guardian of Scotland’s public land register. As such, members of the public have always been entitled to access information from our registers. This has been vital in enabling smooth land and property transactions and contributing towards a stable Scottish economy.

As our customers’ needs continue to evolve, so do the ways we design and deliver our products and services. The refreshed ScotLIS is a response to these customer needs by enabling them to access our information quickly and easily through online self-serve.
