Robert Burns celebrated in Poland
The BPCC has been celebrating the life and works of Robert Burns in Poland for many years – the Burns Night supper is a popular event with Poles, and the evening is a good opportunity to cement the historic ties between Poland and Scotland. Over the years, the BPCC has invited well-known Scots from the world of politics, business and the media, and next year will be no exception. The guest of honour (other than the haggis of course!) will be Scotland’s trade minister, Ivan McKee. The annual event is intended to bring businesses from the two nations closer together, gathering prominent guests and friends of Scotland. It forms an excellent opportunity to establish a visible presence for Scottish firms wanting to do business in Poland. Our evening supper is limited to 120 guests; the BPCC will select and invite Polish counterparts to ensure that any Scottish firms visiting Poland make valuable contacts on the night. Please visit www.bpcc.org.pl for details after 20 November.
