Scottish food and drink event, Eat Drink Discover Scotland, will make a welcome return to the Royal Highland Centre in 2015, Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink.

The unique event will be laid out in the eleven regions of Scotland – all the way from the Scottish Borders to the Highlands and Islands – inviting visitors to taste the country in just one day. This important showcase of our regional output will provide a platform for the cream of Scotland’s food and drink crop to connect directly with enthusiastic consumers, something that came out top in the feedback received from last year’s exhibitors.

Exhibitors already confirmed for the 2015 show include Cook Room, Seriously Good Venison and NutraFizz. Family run Perthshire business Summer Harvest Oils, a returning exhibitor from last year, look forward to taking part in Eat Drink Discover Scotland during Scotland’s Year of Food and Drink saying “This is a great year for Scottish produce and we can’t wait to showcase our products again at such a big foodie event.”

Stephen Hutt, RHASS Chief Executive, said: “Last year’s Eat Drink Discover Scotland showed that that there is clearly an appetite for this type of event, one that connects with both trade and consumers.

“The 2015 event will be a similar format to that of last year, but with a few changes and updates based on the feedback we have received from both visitors and exhibitors. This is no longer new territory for us and we now know what works. We’re following up on our promise by investing in this event to ensure that it is a key date in the foodie calendar.”
