Parity Professionals Secures Further Business Growth

Posted: 19th May 2015

Parity Professionals secures further business growth with places on two 4 year Frameworks to support the Scottish Government and wider Public Sector.

Parity Group plc (“Parity”, or the “Group”), the UK information and marketing technology group, announces an important contract win for Parity Professionals, its Recruitment and Learning and Development division.

Parity Professionals have successfully supported the Scottish Public Sector for the last four years as part of an eight supplier framework to the full Scottish Public Sector market for IT and Interim Management contract staff.

The Scottish Government invited tenders for the national supply of Interim IT and Interim Professional staff services with the intention of reducing the supplier base to increase quality and control within the Frameworks to offer greater value for money for the Scottish Public Sector.

Following the competitive tender process, Parity Professionals have been awarded a place as one of only three suppliers on both the Interim IT and Interim Professional Staff Services Frameworks, this is for an initial three year period with an option to extend for a further year. The new Frameworks, which commenced on 13th April 2015, will cover a wider variety of skills and role profiles throughout the full, geographically diverse, public sector market in Scotland covering Interim IT, Interim Manager and Interim Specialist type services. The advertised expected value of the Frameworks is in the region of £33m and £40m over the term of the Frameworks during what will be a significant period of change in Scotland as more government powers are devolved to Holyrood.

Andrew Foskett, Parity Professional’s Managing Director of Recruitment Services, said:

“This is a fantastic opportunity for Parity Professionals and we are delighted to secure a place on both Interim IT and Interim Professional Staff Services Frameworks. We’ve invested in building our business in Scotland, and in developing our expertise in the market in both the public and private sectors. It is extremely exciting to be supporting our Government through this period of change, helping to improve services for the Scottish population. This win will allow Parity Professionals to further invest in our Scottish Business creating new jobs and supporting growth of the local economy for years to come.”
