Posted: 10th May 2018

Edinburgh’s 20/20 Productions, the creative communication, event and digital production agency, has welcomed two new team members – Tom Aikman and Dylan Groat.

Taking up the roles of Production Assistant and Editor, the two young recruits will boost the creative company ahead of a busy summer season.

Joining the award-winning agency as a production assistant, Tom (22) is a graduate from the University of Glasgow.  He has experience as a news producer for student TV as well as being a runner for Thames TV.

Tom’s role at the busy organisation will involve assisting the production team to pitch, budget and crew video and event projects.

Dylan (23), currently completing his final year at Edinburgh Napier University studying TV Production, joins the team as an editor. After completing a week’s work placement at 20/20 Productions, Dylan was offered the position and will be working closely with Senior Editor, Andrew Greep, where he will be involved in editing video and animating motion graphics.

At 20/20 Productions we are committed to nurturing young talent in the industry, and Tom and Dylan are testament to that. They have already settled in well with the team, and their skills and experience are a great asset to our company.

“We have a busy few months ahead, and our new recruits will be working on client projects, including customer training videos and employee engagement events.”

Commenting on his new appointment to the company, Tom said: “In the short time I’ve been here, 20/20 Productions has already proven to be a warm and positive workplace with a real commitment to employee development. I’m so pleased to be starting my career at such a supportive company amongst experienced and passionate colleagues.”

Dylan added: “I’m looking forward to being challenged on a range of projects whilst learning all I can from the talented team at 20/20 Productions.”
