Making the best of the Auld Alliance

Continuing its rapid international expansion, Emperor, the UK leading integrated communications and design agency has now set its eyes on France.

Borders have never been an issue for Emperor with clients across four continents from USA through to South Africa and Russia. Although Emperor has been working with a small number of French clients for a few years now, France had never been a priority market for the agency, until now.

After extensive research, it was clear this market was in dire need of new players with a fresh approach and a different offer.

But how do you enter a new market and establish yourself as a major player?

First and foremost, it is about identifying the gaps, what competitors can’t do or don’t do well. As a leading integrated agency, Emperor offers a full range of services and the possibility for clients to have one provider who does it all. 22 years of experience in reporting working with some of the biggest UK listed companies also give you a competitive edge…

Clients often look for a partner rather than a provider, someone who will advise, support and accompany you throughout the whole project, it is about understanding your client and its needs, this is where the “people” factor comes in. In order to provide an adequate service to French businesses, a French speaking senior Account Director has been given the responsibility to develop the market.

Within a few months, the agency has already signed contracts with major French companies and the future looks bright for Emperor with many opportunities expected to be converted in 2019.

Entering a new market comes with its challenges, it takes time and requires investments, both financial and operational. Emperor is committed to this new market and confident it will, in time, become one of the main players.
