LendingCrowd, the fast-growing fintech lending platform based in Edinburgh, has been crowned one of the winners in the Scottish heat of the Chamber Business Awards 2019. Now in their 16^th year, the Awards are a highlight of the business calendar, recognising the key role that local businesses play in driving the UK economy.

As Scotland’s High Growth Business of the Year, LendingCrowd will now go forward to the national finals, which take place in London in November.

LendingCrowd, which was founded in 2014, matches individual and institutional investors with businesses seeking finance to grow. Since its launch, the platform has facilitated over 740 loans, totalling more than £65 million, to businesses the length and breadth of Britain.
