LDC launches search for ambitious business leaders across Scotland

Posted: 7th March 2019

Business owners from across Scotland are invited to enter the Top 50 Most Ambitious Business Leaders programme as LDC launches its 2019 search for Britain’s most inspiring entrepreneurs.

The programme, which is run by leading mid-market private equity investor LDC and supported by The Telegraph, will uncover and celebrate the people behind some of the UK’s most successful medium-sized firms.

It will showcase the very best of entrepreneurial endeavour and those listed will follow in the footsteps of a diverse range of Scottish business leaders – from Laurna Woods, CEO of PR firm Beattie Communications, to brothers Richard and Douglas Hare, co-founders of Outplay Entertainment, and security software entrepreneur Jamie Graves, CEO of ZoneFox.

Mark Kerr, Director and Head of LDC in Scotland, said: “Business leaders across Scotland are renowned for their spirit, grit and determination and as we continue to operate against a backdrop of uncertainty, it’s more important than ever we celebrate the success of this homegrown talent.

“Last year, we shared stories of ambition and determination from every corner of the UK and we know from our work with growth businesses across Scotland that there is an even bigger story to tell. We want to recognise those individuals that are pushing on and driving our economy forward.”

Those listed will be featured in The Telegraph later this year. This will be followed by a celebration of the Top 50 at an event in London where an expert panel of judges announce the UK’s Most Ambitious Business Leader for 2019 – the one person who best defines the leadership qualities needed in business today.

To qualify, candidates must be the driving force behind a medium-sized growing business based in the UK. More information on how to enter can be found here: https://bit.ly/2TgTCsB
