A new development in Edinburgh has been given the thumbs up by Scotland international and Harlequins rugby player, Tim Visser.

Mr Visser was recently given a tour of the site and update on construction at Urban Eden, the latest residential development by Places for People.

Urban Eden sits within a mile of Edinburgh city centre. Still under construction, it is being built just off Albion Road, with the first homes being ready by October 2015.

The development will offer a wide range of homes built and designed to the highest specification.  As well as 1-3 bedroom apartments, Urban Eden will also comprise of 1-3 bedroom colony properties, 2 and 3 bedroom terrace houses, 3 bedroom courtyard houses and 2 and 4 bedroom town houses.

The 205 home development has been designed to be modern whilst still in keeping with Edinburgh’s traditional architecture. It will create buildings with plenty of character and a neighbourhood with people friendly streets, squares and terraces, balconies and expansive areas of lush landscaping.

Mandy Lock, Sales Manager from Places for People, said: “We’ve seen real interest in Urban Eden. So far buyers have been attracted to the style of living here – close enough to be part of city life, but at the same time providing that real sense of community and plenty of outside space.”

Plots are now available to purchase – with a number having already been sold.
