In March, 6 industry heavyweights will be joining forces to make the 2015 Scottish Tourism Week the biggest and brightest celebration of Scottish food, drink, tourism and hospitality. These 6 events will take place in Glasgow in the SECC and Crowne Plaza Hotel from the 3rd to 5th March, with an expected 10,000 delegates, exhibitors and industry professionals descending on Glasgow over the 3 days.

To kick start Scottish Tourism Week, the Scottish Tourism Alliance (STA) will again be hosting their signature conference on 4th  & 5th March and this year’s theme is “STA TV“. The media-themed programme is now finalised and there are some first class guests lined-up to inspire, inform and challenge us all, with a few more to be announced in the coming weeks.

As ever, the STA have made every effort to ensure that the event is affordable and that the two day programme offers something for everyone, whatever your sector or size of business.

Also to make Scottish Tourism Week accessible to all, STA patron ScotRail are offering a 20% discount on pre-booked travel to Glasgow over this period.

Marc Crothall, Chief Executive of the Scottish Tourism Alliance commented:

“The Scottish Tourism Alliance remains committed to building on the success of the previous year’s Scottish Tourism Week signature conference. We are delighted to welcome government chiefs, chairs, entrepreneurs, managers to our studio over the two days.

With six jam-packed events taking place, we have offered all Tourism Week delegates the perfect opportunity to kick back and relax at this years “Dinner with a Difference” taking place on Wednesday evening at the Science Centre. I encourage you all to join us for a night of scientific fun, Scottish food and classic upbeat entertainment from of Big Vern ‘n’ the Shootahs.

We are primed and ready to make this Scottish Tourism Week a memorable and inspiring event for all.”
