HRC Recruitment relocates to 180 St Vincent Street in Glasgow

Posted: 17th April 2018

HRC Recruitment are moving their offices in Glasgow to 180 St Vincent Street, where they have taken the 5,160 sq ft eighth floor of the building.

This latest letting follows quickly on from the 4,804 sq ft ninth floor which was let to legal firm Turcan Cornell in February, and the 5,082 sq ft seventh floor which was taken by chartered accountancy firm Alexander Sloan in December.

The recruitment company, which offers a comprehensive range of services from high-volume campaigns to specialist senior assignments across a wide range of sectors, was looking for larger and better-equipped office space suitable to meet their clients’ increasing demands in Glasgow.

Northwood Regional UK Ltd, owner of 180 St Vincent Street, recently undertook a full refurbishment of the top four floors of the building and the main reception with the purpose of creating space particularly attractive to professional services and corporate occupiers.

Mark Evans, Northwood Director, commented on the deal: “These three lettings have happened in quick succession, which is testament to our ability to structure deals to suit any business’ needs. We feel confident further lettings will be agreed shortly.”

Speaking about the selection of One80, Hilary Roberts of HRC Recruitment said: “We were attracted to this building because of the high quality of the space provided, the views, and the fact that it offers an inbuilt IT solution ready to be operationally up and running within a matter of weeks.”

Ken McInnes of Ryden added: “One80 has become the ideal office space in one of the city’s most desired streets. The improvements made by Northwood follow our client`s focus to meet the occupational demand in Glasgow through high end refurbishment.”

Ryden and JLL represented Northwood, and Eric Young & Co acted for HRC Recruitment.
