Part of Edinburgh International Science Festival, the night will start at Penguins Rock for a bite and welcome drink with the penguins, before heading to Budongo Trail for a starter with the chimpanzees. At both enclosures, guests will have a chance to hear from the Zoo’s keepers and nutrition experts about what the animals eat and the logistics of feeding these hungry mouths. Then it’s on to the historic mansion house to enjoy a main and dessert, with the chance to hear from the RZSS Organic Chef in Residence as you enjoy a menu themed around the animals’ favourite bites. There will also be a few extra Zoo related surprises along the way!

RZSS Edinburgh Zoo is dedicated to sustainable food production and raising awareness of palm oil.

The ticket includes an arrival drink, canapés and a three course meal. Participants must be 18 years or older. Tickets are £40 per person.

Tickets are available exclusively through the Edinburgh International Science Festival Website: http://www.sciencefestival.co.uk/event-details/feeding-time-at-the-zoo
