Join us for a very special treat as we open the doors exclusively for one day only this coming December for you to enjoy a sumptuous afternoon tea experience. The festive season is upon us and if you’re looking for a special occasion to get you into the Christmas spirit then look no further. Relax in the most gorgeous surroundings of the Great Hall, beautifully dressed for the festive season whilst indulging in our delicious festive inspired afternoon tea.

Our pastry chefs have designed an indulgent festive menu full of beautifully handcrafted treats and savouries. Make it bubbly with a glass of fizz, a Christmas cocktail made by our very own mixologist or why not enjoy a hot chocolate in the cosy surroundings of the New Library, with its roaring fires and an exclusive bar area.

What’s more we have invited some lovely local suppliers who will be showcasing their products with their Christmas stalls for you to browse, perfect for gifting and stocking fillers.

Looking to treat your friends and family to a wonderful experience? Enjoy your afternoon tea before joining a fantastic wreath making class to add a touch of homemade charm to your
Christmas. You’ll have the opportunity to join a private wreath making class where you can decorate your own wreath to take home.
