Instead of giving out chocolate advent calendars and selection boxes in the Royal Hospital for Sick Children this year, we are creating a living advent calendar in the hospital which all of the children and young people will be able to participate in. Behind a different door in the hospital every day from the 1^st to 24^th December will be an example of something the charity funds through our innovative and creative Arts Programme. From therapeutic music and dance, to creative art workshops and storytelling, all streamed live on Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity’s social media platforms, every child and young person in hospital will be able to take part in a festive Christmas activity.

In order for this exciting project to go head, we are asking companies and businesses across Edinburgh to consider partnering with us, and sponsoring one of the doors of our living advent calendar. Companies will be able to “twin” one of their office doors with one of the living advent calendar doors, receiving a full length door vinyl celebrating their involvement in The Big Christmas Door Appeal as well as a number of other benefits including PR and marketing opportunities and an invitation to join Edinburgh Children’s Hospital Charity at their invite-only Christmas celebration event.

This is the perfect opportunity for Edinburgh’s companies to come together to support their local children’s hospital charity this Christmas, providing festive fun, joy and memories for children, young people and their families who will spend this Christmas period in hospital.
