Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce announced the appointment of its new president and a new vice president at its AGM today. Scott Black, Managing Director of executive search company FWB Park Brown, takes on his new role as president and Stuart Wallace Divisional Director Scottish Operation at Forth Ports joins as vice president.

Scott said: “It is essential that the Chamber not only remains relevant and beneficial to members, we also have a key role in driving the development and prosperity of Scotland’s capital city. Engaging with our members and promoting the Chamber is therefore at the heart of what I’d like to do in my time as president. Edinburgh is a great, prosperous city and the Chamber has a great heritage in supporting its commercial growth. I’m absolutely delighted and honoured to have been made president of Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce.”

David Birrell, Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce chief executive added: “The Chamber is one of Edinburgh’s leading business organisations and I look forward to working together with both Scott and Stuart to help deliver the city’s continued success.”
