CMS Scotland outlines the different approaches being taken by the UK Government and Scottish Government in the construction industry.

The UK Government and the Scottish Government have taken different approaches on the treatment of construction sites for protection against coronavirus with the Scottish Government looking for work on non-essential sites to be halted. These differences are expressed in Ministers’ Statements and Government Guidance papers with some minor divergence in in policy notes and legislation.
