Posted: 2nd May 2018

Change disruption is the order of the day. Rapidly changing customer buying habits, access to new technology and social media are accelerating. Because of this, organisations need to adapt, improve, change very quickly. Change management is the proven game changer enabling improved profit margin. Developing internal change management capability is critical to remain competitive or even survive!

Business: Who knew the world’s biggest taxi company uber would not own taxi?

Politics: Who knew Trump as the next President if the US?

Economics: Who was certain the UK would leave the EU?

Sports: Who thought Leicester City could win the EPL?

For the last 30 years Peter has worked in over 25 countries, working for companies such as AEGON, EY, Shell and NCR and his clients include Boeing, Rolls Royce, Saudi Aramco and Adecco. He is a highly accomplished and skilled global senior transformation and change executive with a proven track record of complex programme delivery in multi-disciplinary environments for the world’s largest and most successful organisations.

a2B Advisory Consulting uses a very different approach to implement change to support organisations to deliver results during change disruption. They offer:

  • 10 Step Programme Framework – a structured and disciplined programme approach, to support organisations, leadership teams and individuals going through a change.
  • Employee Change Support – a model to support employee through the change so they adopt the new way of working.
  • Employee Behaviour Model – to support the employee in developing new required behaviours ensuring the change is sustained.

Peter Gallagher, Founder and MD said, “We designed the Change Management Practitioner course based on global leading practice, it is for delegates who want to improve their professional change skills to support their organisation in a major change or transformation. This programme is designed to build change management capability. Delegates will gain an insight into change implementation models, tools and techniques that can help deliver effective change.”

The course is highly practical, focusing on challenges and opportunities typically faced by change professionals in their organisation. A Change History Assessment (CHA) will be performed to analyse how previous change has been implemented, providing organisational insights that can be used to mitigate previous weaknesses and enhance previous successes. Repeated previous change implementation weakness include lack of employee involvement, poor communication and existing employee workload not being taken into consideration.

Organisation Benefits

Having internal Change Management Practitioner capability gives the organisation competitive advantage and agility to deal with both internal and external change. The leadership team can then quickly adapt to change, reduce employee resistance and obtain the change benefits. Leaders who manage change remove obstacles affecting efficiency, helping to maintain company productivity whilst reducing change implementation time.

 Certified Trainers

All course trainers have global transformation delivery and training experience. They are accredited Change Management Professionals (CCMPTM) and also hold verified international certifications in business improvement and project management which further supports the candidate back in the work place with their own project delivery.

When?

The 4-day programme is scheduled to start on May 28th in Edinburgh and has a pre-course introduction webinar to discuss each candidate’s project and arrange their CHA.
