Business Briefings – The Art of Managing People: HR Essentials

Arts & Business Scotland are delighted to confirm that bookings are now open for the next Business Briefing on Tuesday 21 March in Edinburgh.

Ian Pilbeam and Gordon Teasdale from HR Dept will deliver an introductory seminar for those directly involved in managing people and those who, in their day to day work, come into contact with human resource matters.

The seminar will help you:

– Understand the importance of effective people management to all businesses
– Become aware of the range of approaches available to the management of people
– Appreciate the technical competencies involved in people management
– Recognise the importance of building an engaged workforce

The event will take place on Tuesday 21 March 2017 at Arts & Business Scotland, 1st Floor Rosebery House, 9 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5EZ. Registration is from 8.45am with tea, coffee and pastries, and the event will run from 9am – 10.30am.

In addition to the event, HR Dept are offering all Arts & Business Scotland not-for-profit members a one hour free consultation on any employment matter, and then special discounted rates thereafter on their outsourced HR services.

This event is FREE for members of Arts & Business Scotland and £25 + VAT for non-members. Because of the popularity of the Business Briefings, they ask that only one representative per organisation book in the first instance.
