BOTANIC LIGHTS: NIGHT IN THE GARDEN

Thursday 30 October to Sunday 23 November

As darkness descends, follow a magical trail of light through the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. Take a path illuminated by fantastic effects and experience the unfamiliar sights and sounds of the Garden after dark. See the Victorian Palm House lit superbly against the evening sky, enjoy the twinkle of lights over the Pond, play with installations which cast colour and shadow on the landscape before making your way to a finale of light on Inverleith House lawn, overlooking the Edinburgh skyline at night.

Botanics - Pink & yellowNight in the Garden has been created by the Botanics and is produced by Edinburgh-based Unique Events in association with Black Light, Scottish light artist Malcolm Innes and Euan Winton from Edinburgh Napier University. It is part of Homecoming Scotland 2014 and is supported by players of the People’s Postcode Lottery and Sodexo Prestige, the Garden’s exclusive caterers.
