Arts & Business Scotland – Introduction to Fundraising, 14th October

There is still time to book onto the Arts & Business Scotland Introduction to Fundraising course on Wednesday 14th October

This full day course will be held at our new offices next to Haymarket station: Rosebery House, 9 Haymarket Terrace, Edinburgh, EH12 5EZ. This course is aimed at individuals in Arts and Culture organisations who are new to or starting to fund raise and wish to build their knowledge, skills and confidence.

The objectives of the day are:

To gain an overview of the current funding landscape in Scotland in relation to Arts and Culture To examine a range of fundraising techniques and approaches to secure support for your organisation To look at the elements of an effective case for support To provide you with resources that will support effective fundraising

At the end of the day you will:

Have identified what you need to have in place before you can start to fundraise effectively Be aware of what sources of funding you can approach and identify which ones might be best matched to your organisational needs Have an outline of the elements needed to make your organisational case to funders Understand what a range of funders look for when giving support Feel more confident in approaching a range of sources for support To provide you with resources that will support effective fundraising
The fee for this course is £80 to A&BS members and £120 to non-members.
