Arcadis to Sponsor Business Challenge at Simplyhealth Great Edinburgh Run

Posted: 13th March 2017

Newly designated UK Superbrand, Arcadis, has teamed up with the UK’s biggest mass participation running series, Great Run, to become the title sponsor of the popular Business Challenge in cities across the country. The partnership will kick off with next month’s Simplyhealth Great Edinburgh Run on Sunday 23 April.

The Arcadis Business Challenge is open to all companies and teams are divided into three categories depending on whether they are a small medium or large organisation, and can be all male, all female or mixed.

Along with sponsoring the run, Arcadis are also playing their part as Great Run’s official City Development Partner, helping with the coordination and logistics across the programme of events.
Graham Hill, Arcadis City Executive for Edinburgh, said: “We have a long association with Edinburgh so joining together with Great Run to put on this event in the city is a really exciting next step for us.

“As a business, we’re all about improving people’s quality of life so we’re extremely proud to be involved in putting an event like this on that captures the imagination and gives the city’s economy a boost.”

Vairi Smith, project manager of the Simplyhealth Great Edinburgh Run, said: “We are delighted to have Arcadis on board as title sponsor of our Business Challenge.

“We know Edinburgh is a competitive city so we’re looking forward to seeing who comes out on top this year, but it’s not all about winning. The Arcadis Business Challenge is also an opportunity for each individual organisation to encourage a healthy outlook for staff, engage in some team building and focus on charity fundraising for their chosen good cause.”
