Appointedd secures international partnership with open ecosystem and payment provider, AEVI

Posted: 26th January 2017

Online booking software specialist, Appointedd, today announces a strategic partnership with AEVI, the provider of a global open ecosystem for payment transactions and marketplace for value added apps and services, which will see Appointedd’s scheduling software being made available to over half a million businesses worldwide.

The groundbreaking deal enables Appointedd to power online appointment setting for any users of AEVI’s Global Marketplace, an Android-based payment platform which operates on AEVI-enabled SmartPOS (point of sale) devices, such as “Albert” and “Sofia”.

From February, Appointedd’s scheduling and booking software will feature on AEVI’s cloud-based suite of business to business (B2B) apps and services that enables merchant banks and payment providers to provide their small to medium sized enterprise (SME) customers with an all-in-one business solution beyond simply processing payments.

Appointedd’s seamless scheduling software delivers the world’s first online booking platform that can harmoniously schedule appointments across multiple time zones, enabling businesses to easily make appointments with colleagues, customers, partners and prospects wherever they are in the world. Appointedd’s suite of tools also empowers both enterprise and SME users to save time, streamline administration and enhance service delivery by providing a comprehensive set of additional features, including customer relationship management and marketing automation.

Appointedd’s founder and CEO, Leah Hutcheon, said:

“At Appointedd, we’re passionate about supporting businesses to grow and flourish and this new partnership with AEVI exposes Appointedd to a wide range of businesses across the globe, enabling us to help them to scale their businesses. We know that SMEs are short on time and Appointedd can help them streamline processes, grow their businesses and gain a competitive advantage.

“More than that, partnering with AEVI, a subsidiary of Diebold Nixdorf, connects Appointedd with world class financial enterprises, enabling us to demonstrate the capacity Appointedd has to support enterprise companies.”

Mike Camerling, Chief Product Officer at AEVI, said:

“We are really excited to be bringing Appointedd’s dynamic online booking software to all our merchant banks and acquirers. This latest edition to our Global Marketplace displays our ongoing desire to collaborate with some of the world’s top software developers to transform the payments industry.”

The strategic partnership with AEVI follows Appointedd’s recent announcement that it had been selected by Alliance Business Centers Network (ABCN) to enhance its digital support offering across its global portfolio of 700 serviced offices in 52 countries – connecting Appointedd with its 500,000 customers worldwide.

Appointedd was founded by Leah Hutcheon in 2011 and has attracted support from a wide range of investors, including Gareth Williams, founder of Skyscanner, and Marie Macklin CBE, founder of Macklin Enterprise Partnerships. The company has grown steadily since launch, and this partnership represents a further step change in its potential scale.

Leah Hutcheon added:

“Through strategic partnerships with aggregators like AEVI and ABCN, who we partnered with last year, we plan to grow Appointedd as a truly global brand that works with smart people to power businesses worldwide with the best scheduling technology.”
