With the 2016 cross-country mountain bike race season just about to get underway, Concept Group are delighted to announce its sponsorship of Heather Shanks (one of our Senior IT Support Analysts), who will be racing in the Expert category of the British and Scottish Cross Country Mountain Bike Series.

Heather Shanks started racing last year following her husband who has been racing in endurance and cross country mountain biking over the past few years.

Heather’s first race of the season takes place on Easter Weekend at Laggan, near Newtonmore, at the first round of the Scottish XC Series.  In total Heather will compete in 6 Scottish and 6 British Races at various locations around the UK. Both series will have races held at Cathkin Braes Commonwealth Games track in Glasgow on 22nd May and 17th July, respectively and are great spectator events.

We look forward to sharing Heather’s progress throughout the season on our twitter page @ConceptGroupLtd
