Thomson Cooper are delighted to announce a key appointment to their senior team, effective from 1 March, as part of the firm’s growth strategy across Scotland. Elaine Cromwell, based at their Dunfermline office, has been promoted to the position of Partner.

Elaine started with Thomson Cooper in 1990 as a trainee accountant, qualifying as a Chartered Certified Accountant in 1996. Following a three year break working in industry, Elaine re-joined the firm in 2003 before being made an Associate in 2005.

Elaine is renowned for her technical expertise and solution focused approach. She advises senior management teams in areas such as management accounting, budgeting and forecasting and KPI reporting.

Her talent and competence have been recognised by accounting software giant Sage who selected her as ‘Accountant of the Year’ in 2010. Elaine was also crowned ‘Training Manager of the Year’ by industry peers at the Scottish Accountancy Awards in 2013.
