Service improvements that First West Lothian
Details of service improvements that First West Lothian will introduce to its network with effect from Monday 27 May 2019:
Service 21: Monday to Saturday daytime frequency improved between Whitburn and Bathgate to operate every 30 minutes, offing a half-hourly service along the entire route length between Whitburn and Livingston.
Service X23: Monday to Saturday daytime frequency between Livingston Centre and Edinburgh improved to operate every 30 minutes.
Service 25: Sunday daytime frequency between Blackridge and Edinburgh improved to operate every 30 minutes. (Sunday daytime journeys on service 24 will continue to operate hourly between Deans North and Broxburn).
Service 600: Monday to Saturday daytime frequency between Edinburgh Airport and Livingston Centre improved to operate every 30 minutes, with an additional stop also introduced at Ingliston Park + Ride. Service 600 is also extended beyond Livingston Centre on Mondays to Saturdays to Whitburn (Rigghouse) via Kirkton Campus, Seafield, Blackburn Cross and Whitburn Cross. These improvements will provide Whitburn and Blackburn with an improved level of service to Livingston, as well as a direct link to Edinburgh Airport. It will also introduce a bus service to the Rigghouse area of Whitburn for the first time. The existing hourly service on Sundays between Edinburgh Airport and Livingston Centre will continue.
Timetable revisions will also be introduced on services 22, 23, 24, 26/26A, 27 and 29, and while the overall frequencies of these services will be largely unchanged, we do ask passengers to double check the timings of their journeys to take account of any adjustments.
