Mix up your fitness regime with a free fitness taster at Edinburgh Leisure

Join in at ‘the biggest club in town’ with a free Les Mills class taster event, open to members and non-members, being held at Edinburgh Leisure’s Ainslie Park Leisure Centre on Wednesday, 27 March from 18:00-21:00hrs.

And for fitness enthusiasts who may be considering a career in this industry, there’ll also be the opportunity to find out more about becoming a Les Mills instructor.

Mixing the hottest music with cutting-edge exercise science and motivation, Les MillsTM fitness classes are many of the popular fitness classes offered at Edinburgh Leisure.  Licensed by 19,500 partners in 100 countries around the world, there’ll be the opportunity to try out Les MillsTM Barre, Bodyattack, Bodycombat, BodyBalance, SH’BAM, Sprint, and RPM on the evening.

Booking is essential for the free 30-minute taster classes, which are bookable by calling 0131 551 2400, online on the website or Edinburgh Leisure App or by calling into the reception at Ainslie Park Leisure Centre, 92 Pilton Drive, Edinburgh, EH5 2HF.

And for fitness enthusiasts interested in a career in the fitness industry, there will be a free presentation too, on becoming a Les Mills instructor. This event takes place from 18:35-19:05, where you can learn about the journey from becoming a fitness enthusiast to a coach.

Ainslie Park is located in the north of Edinburgh, just off Ferry Road behind Morrisons supermarket and near to Inverleith Park and the Western General Hospital.  It is just one of Edinburgh Leisure’s 30+ sports and leisure facilities across the city, which includes 9 swimming pools, 13 gyms, 700+ fitness classes per week, state of the art facilities and community-bases programmes, creating opportunities for everyone to get active, stay active and achieve more.
