PBA grows Scottish engineering team
Peter Brett Associates (PBA) continues to grow its structural and civil engineering teams in Scotland with the appointment of Janice Smith and Donna McKenzie.
Janice joins us from South Queensferry-based WMA, where as a director, she was instrumental in the design of multi-million pound projects, including a new £14 million facility for Dundee Academy of Sport. In her previous role for Goodson Associates, she oversaw the civil and structural engineering design for the South Lanarkshire Schools Framework and the new Systems Medicine building at the University of Edinburgh. Janice has also been a Supervising Civil Engineer for the Institute of Civil Engineering’s graduate training scheme.
Donna worked alongside Janice at both WMA and Goodson Associates; specialising in the design of schools and industrial facilities. She has served as a STEM ambassador; a CITB Construction Ambassador and a committee member of the Central Scotland branch of Women in Property.
“We are delighted to welcome Janice and Donna to the team,” said PBA Partner Dougie McDonald. “As we build our practice and reputation in Scotland, their skills and experience will be an invaluable asset to our Buildings service offer.”
