Tanami’s summer adventure – Pug holiday
Edinburgh-based production company, Tanami, has produced Vision Direct’s first ever summer campaign video which sees adorable mascot, Gizmo the pug, head off to sunny Marbella for a family holiday.
Promoting the brand’s superfast European delivery option, the campaign is designed to show just how easy it can be to receive contact lenses whilst away abroad.
Jemma Caldwell, Managing Director at Tanami, comments: “People warned us about working with animals and children but we didn’t let that put us off! Having a pug in the starring role was certainly a new experience but we loved every minute of our Spanish shoot! The dogs were incredibly well looked after on-set with owners, expert handlers and personal doggy chauffeurs on standby!”
Ashley Mealor, Chief Marketing Officer at Vision Direct, said: “In a recent survey we found that 35% of our customers didn’t know they had the option to order lenses whilst they were away. We wanted to remind everyone just how easy it can be to get the lenses you need, even when you’re far from home. In fact, our superfast delivery service will reach most European destinations in two to three days.”
The full length (1’20”) video will be promoted across all of Vision Direct’s social media platforms, including both Facebook and Twitter, along with a 30 second version which will feature as a Facebook advert over the next few months.
