This beginners crochet course is perfect for anyone looking to get started with the creative art of crochet. As well as learning a fun, new craft, you’ll also learn how to explore a different way to relax, be mindful, and maintain good mental health – all in a creative way! Yes you’ll learn to crochet, but you’ll also learn how to use crochet to give yourself time to relax, recharge and cope with life’s stresses.

Over the 4 weeks, you will learn how to make your own handmade snood. We will cover:
• How to do the 5 most common crochet stitches
• An extra funky stitch
• How to change colour
• How to read a pattern
• Some mindful techniques using crochet
The course is not rushed, and pattern is simple and repetitive, designed with the aim of letting your mind settle with the repetition of stitches, and be able to focus on your breathing. And ultimately: to relax.
Crocheting experience is not essential! This course is aimed at total beginners. All materials, patterns and tuition will be provided.
