Welcoming Visitors, Welcoming New Trainers

As part of #DevelopmentMonth the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce is delighted to announce that Catherine Bowie has now joined the training team.

On the on going development of the ECC training calendar see Catherine bring two courses to George Street, “Welcoming Visitors” and “Assertiveness at Work”. Catherine a Director of CBTS training, is acknowledged as one of the leading tourism and customer service trainers in Scotland and a Fellow of the Tourism Society.  Training since 1995, Catherine offer’s a wealth of experience in tourism, leisure, retail and hospitality sectors. Her background in tourism started working with VisitScotland,  she then became an in-bound tour operator and went on to lecturing in Tourism and Hospitality in Edinburgh colleges.  She has now been training in CBTS for the past 20 years. Her training experience has given her the opportunity to work at all levels from front-line team members, team leaders, supervisors and management.

We are delighted to add her to our extensive trainer line up. “Welcoming Visitors” aimed at any person with a customer facing role will take place on April 20th 2016 and “Assertiveness at Work” will guide those seeking more confidence to manage up and down on April 21st2016 at the ECC office.
