Competent and confident supervisors are critical to the success of all organisations.  Effective supervision will positively influence employee engagement and retention, team performance and will create a more motivating environment.  All too often however, supervisors are appointed based on good technical work performance and are not given the support to embrace and confidently apply the people skills and approaches that are fundamental to their new supervisory role.

This one-day course will address the essential skills and knowledge required to supervise staff, building confidence in the application of a range of techniques that are used to improve the performance of individuals and the team.

Who should attend?

This course is for newly appointed or existing first level supervisors/team leaders who have not received any formal training in supervisory skills.  This is an intermediate level course.
