Overview:
The workshop will explore how best to delegate and overcome the barriers to delegation and develop your active listening and good questioning techniques, which are key to handling difficult conversations and people. It will share the five steps to having great delivery conversations and how to adapt your approach to different people and scenarios. Strategies will be shared for managing conflict in the workplace and how to apply them on a day-to-day basis. Finally, it will explore how to create a working environment where people feel empowered and engaged in their work.
The online workshop is designed to be interactive, blending management theory with practical day-to-day examples, participant contributions and group work in online breakout rooms.
Who should attend?
This course is for newly appointed or existing first level supervisors/team leaders who have not received any formal training in supervisory skills. This is an intermediate level course.
