Overview
To secure a position of employment, the biggest hurdle to cross after the formal application is of course the interview.  It’s the key opportunity you have to sell yourself in the best light possible to a future employer and create a positive and memorable first impression.
This half day workshop will give you the essential knowledge and teach you the tools and techniques necessary to give an outstanding performance at interview. Learn what it is that employers are looking for at interview, how to avoid the all too common pitfalls and what you can do to ensure that a potential future employer will end up offering you the job.

Who should attend
This workshop has been developed specifically for the UK Government Kickstart Scheme as part of the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce’s wrap around employability support toolkit.  Individuals with limited or no interview experience will find this training particularly useful.  School / college leavers, graduates and job returners wishing to brush up on their interview skills will also benefit.
