Introduction to Management – for team leaders, supervisors and managers

@ Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce Delivered Online Edinburgh Midlothian EH2 2LE

8th July, 2021 10:00-15:00 Training 295.00-399.00
People management is often the biggest concern of team leaders, supervisors and managers. These workshops identify what it means to be a great people manager, exploring the roles, responsibilities and skill sets you need.

Training covers tools and techniques to get the best out of your people including delegation skills and holding people to account. You’ll learn active listening and good questioning techniques, fundamental to handling difficult conversations and people.

We explore how to create working environments where people feel empowered and engaged. Strategies are shared for managing conflict and how to apply these on a day-to-day basis. Time management and ‘prioritisation’ skills are covered, helping you enhance personal performance.

Workshops are interactive, blending management theory with practical day-to-day techniques, examples, participant contributions and group work.
