Overview:
Conducting great performance reviews and appraisals is key element of being a great manager. This workshop will take the mystique out of conducting appraisals, giving feedback and enable you to make them motivational and hold constructive conversations which will have a positive impact on your team.
This session will share how best to plan appraisals, give feedback, encourage self-reflection and greater levels of personal ownership. It will explore how to handle difficult conversations and people, and where necessary diagnose the root cause of performance issues and how to prevent these in the first place.
The workshop includes the five steps to holding great delivery conversations and how to adapt your approach to different people and scenarios. Finally, it will explore how to create a working environment where people feel empowered and engaged in their work.
The workshops are designed to be interactive, blending management theory with practical day-to-day examples, participant contributions and group work.
