Overview
Employability skills are a suite of essential skills needed by an individual to help make them more “Employable”. These skills are in addition to the more technical and subject specific skills employers demand in their employees. Whilst these skills may not be explicitly identified in job descriptions, they are regarded as a given by employers.  Employability skills are also referred to as soft skills and include communication, motivation, reliability, team work and adaptability to name but a few.

This seminar explores the full range of explicit and implied employability skills desired by employers and why they are essential for the workplace. Practical advice and guidance on how to develop and improve these skills is a given during the workshop. Participants leave with a summary assessment of their current levels of own core employability skills and a defined action plan of how to further develop and improve on these.
