Successful leaders understand and practice good coaching skills with their teams. Quality coaching conversations can be some of the most difficult to have but are essential when developing the performance of a team and individuals.
This workshop highlights the value of using good coaching skills, explores the different methods and allows plenty of opportunity to practice. As part of the session you will explore:

- The definition of coaching
- Essentials required for effective coaching
- Having one to one coaching meetings and coaching conversations
- Team coaching
- How to maintain your motivation when coaching

Who should attend?

This Course is For You If… 

- You have some experience of leading, but have little or no formal training in coaching skills,
- You are new to a leadership role and you want to learn how to coach individual members of your team, both formally and informally,
- You have been identified as a future manager/leader and you want to learn how to coach people now,
- You own a small business that is expending in size, and you now employ people that see you as their boss and want you to lead and coach them.

Bryan designs and delivers training courses for the Edinburgh Chamber of Commerce, is an accredited coach and trainer, and qualified in DISC personality and PIAV personal motivator profiling.
