Scotland’s HIV & Hepatitis C charity, Waverley Care and award winning firm of solicitors, MHD Law, revealed the fundraising total from the charity’s recent event, the Tartan Rainbow Ceilidh.

Held at The Assembly Roxy in March, the event was made possible due to generous sponsorship from local companies MHD Law and Wood Mackenzie. After costs, the charity will receive a fantastic total of £2,859.49.

Alex Sharp, Events Fundraiser at Waverley Care said “we are delighted to have raised such a fantastic amount from the Ceilidh. Each year we rely of the support of the public to ensure people affected by HIV and Hepatitis C receive the care they need”.

Of the event, MHD Law Partner, Lorraine Tollan, said “It was great to see so many people putting their dancing shoes on to raise money for Waverley Care. I’m delighted the ceilidh was a success and glad that MHD Law was able to provide support for it.”
