Non-commodity charges (NCCs) are on the rise – act now to minimise the effect on your bills!

Non-commodity costs are the elements of your electricity bill that are not your direct electricity rate. NCCs are imposed by distribution and transmission companies and changes imposed as a result of government schemes and levies.

Currently these charges account for more than 50% of your electricity bill; however, this amount is set to increase to over 60% by 2020.

Creative Learning Programmes Ltd. is seeking companies that can offer a five-weeks work placement to Erasmus+ students coming from Italy to Edinburgh in May 2018.

The host employer will gain a valuable team member without incurring any expense as those (wages-insurance) are covered by the scheme.

The students are graduating in the following fields:

  • Forestry and agriculture: 10 students; From 20/5 to 23/06 2018.
  • Hospitality; Cookery; Pastry; Food & drink; Languages; Marketing; Business admin; Travel and Tourism: 14 students; From 21/05 to 25/06 2018.

We would require companies to provide them with a certificate at the end of the training period (which we provide ready to sing), monitor the apprentices’ progress and potentially provide them with a Reference letter.
