Structure Tone UK has just completed one of their most challenging new build construction projects ever undertaken – The Dock. To mark this occasion they commissioned Heehaw to produce a short film that followed the journey of this highly complex Mission Critical new build project over a former graving dry dock adjacent to the River Thames in London.

Heehaw worked in partnership with James Reid Photography, editing over 100,000 photos, GoPro footage and architectural plans to create a time-lapse film that told the story of this amazing project. On screen motion graphics and an emotive soundtrack helps guide the viewer from the groundworks and excavation in September 2014 through to the final critical engineering installation, completed in July 2016.

Mally Graveson, Managing Director of Heehaw said “We loved working on this project. What a challenge it was taking two years of data and images and turning them into the story of a building. The final film for me is quite emotional.  I cannot believe I have this much affection for a single building. It was a joy working with a client who allowed us a complete free reign on the creative.  And amazing working with James Reid, whose photography is superb and his passion for construction projects is very infectious.”

Richard Brandon, Director of Mission Critical at StructureTone said: “It was so important we chose the right film company to tell the story of this very complex construction and engineering project, and to really raise the bar in time-lapse film making. Mally and his team at Heehaw have produced an amazing body of work that certainly exceeded our expectations and those of our ultimate client – a global mass media and information company.”
