• Two Stagecoach East Scotland Depots shortlisted for ‘Top National Depot’
• Stagecoach East Scotland nominated for ‘Top Shire Operator’
• Express City Connect network in the running for ‘Sustained Marketing Excellence’ once again

Stagecoach East Scotland are finalists at the UK Bus Awards 2019 within three award categories.

The company has once again been shortlisted for a number of awards, covering categories including Marketing, Customer Service and Operations.

Having reached the shortlist for Top Shire Operator for the third consecutive year, the company are also in the running for Top National Depot with two of the five finalists being in the East Scotland region. St Andrews depot and Blairgowrie have both been shortlisted for the award this year, showing continuous operational improvement and excellent customer service within the regions they operate. This follows from previous years where the team in St Andrews won the Top National Depot accolade in 2016 and the silver award in 2018.

Within the marketing category, it was announced that the Express City Connect network is in the running for the Sustained Marketing Excellence award for the fourth year in a row, with the team picking up the silver trophy in the category in 2018, and the bronze trophy in 2017 and 2016. The campaigns to promote the luxury express network have achieved significant passenger growth over the years and continue to target commuters and visitors to the area with targeted marketing activity.

The announcement was made by the UK Bus Awards on 9 and 10 October via a series of social media posts highlighting each category finalist.
